Corporate buyers gain access to 2024 biochar credits
Supercritical, a leading carbon removal marketplace, has partnered with biochar producer Exomad Green to offer corporate buyers exclusive carbon credits. This collaboration will provide access to 100% of Exomad's 2024 biochar credits, which are derived from sustainable forestry residues in South America.

Exomad Green is responsible for 50% of all biochar credits available for 2024, outpacing 16 other projects. This partnership enhances Supercritical’s offerings, allowing buyers to secure reliable carbon offsets from one of the market’s top producers.

Biochar is created through pyrolysis, a process that converts organic material into stable carbon, which can sequester CO2 for hundreds to thousands of years. Exomad’s biochar also enhances soil quality, making it a valuable tool for sustainable land management.
The partnership simplifies the carbon credit procurement process for corporate clients, who are increasingly seeking high-quality, verifiable offsets. Supercritical’s platform ensures these credits meet rigorous standards, providing live pricing and availability for same-year purchases.
