Green Earth Q3 update: sales pipeline exceeds €50 million as commercial execution continues to grow
Green Earth Group N.V. ("Green Earth" or "the Group") (Euronext: EARTH, NL0009169515), a leading end-to-end developer of nature-based solutions, announces that its firm sales order book reached approximately €46.7 million at 30 September 2026 — more than 23 times the sales order book recorded at year-end 2025, representing growth of approximately 2,235%. Including potential option value, the Group’s broader sales pipeline now exceeds €50 million.
Q3 2026 key highlights
Commercial development
- Sales order book grew by approximately €5.2 million: At 30 September 2026, contracted future sales totalled approximately €46.7 million, compared with €41.5 million at 30 June 2026. This comprised €6.98 million in prepaid contracted sales and approximately €39.7 million payable upon future credit delivery.
- New prepaid contracts of €1.08 million: Green Earth signed additional prepaid sales agreements during Q3, bringing new prepaid contracted sales secured in the first nine months of 2026 to €5.18 million.
- Long-term Uganda offtake secured: The Bulindi offtake agreement represents approximately $4.8 million in firm future sales, with deliveries scheduled between 2027 and 2031.
- Further commercial potential through 2035: The Bulindi agreement includes a paid option for additional deliveries. If exercised in full, the firm commitment and option would have a combined potential value of approximately $16.3 million. Option volumes are excluded from the firm sales order book. Including this potential option value, the broader sales pipeline exceeds €50 million.
Project development
Green Earth progressed its agroforestry, restoration, cookstove, plastic, food and cash crop agriculture, and pilot programmes during the quarter.
- Agroforestry: The portfolio covered 1,632 hectares across 3 projects at quarter-end. In Uganda’s Bulindi and Kenya’s Mt Kenya project, planting-season preparations advanced across almost 1,000 additional hectares.
- Habitat Restoration: In Kazakhstan, Green Earth has planted 590 ha and is preparing a 12,000-hectare planting programme for 2027. Documentation is also being prepared for the 89,000-hectare expansion.
- Cookstoves: Cumulative distribution across Kenya and Nigeria reached 79,113 units, up from 76,968 units at the end of Q2. This represents 2,145 additional cookstoves distributed during the quarter and growth of 2.7%.
- Plastic: During Q3, 50 tonnes of plastic were collected, processed, and recycled, compared with 27 tonnes at the end of Q2.
- Food and cash crop agriculture: In Kenya’s Bungoma food forest, the first vegetables were harvested and sold, and coffee planting commenced.
- Pilots and new initiatives: All 21 plots across the approximately 8-hectare Bungoma food forest pilot were established, combining coffee, fruit trees, vegetables, legumes and fodder crops with solar-powered micro-irrigation. The Democratic Republic of the Congo pilot experienced delays, while the Ukraine pilot is entering its initial phase. A coffee trading pilot in Uganda is in the planning phase. In parallel, Green Earth continued development of its feasibility technology platform and biodiversity platform, advancing the tools used to assess, design and monitor new nature-based projects.
Corporate milestones
- Green Earth completed the first year of its strategic execution framework introduced on 27 June 2025. A new set of strategic short-term objectives will be announced at the EGM on 15 October 2026.
- The Company is on track to achieve B Corp certification this year, the independent standard for verified social and environmental performance, transparency and accountable governance, and is advancing ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, the leading international standard for information security management.
Outlook
The Group’s operational priorities for Q4 include:
- Completing the second annual planting cycle across its active agroforestry projects.
- Preparing the next large-scale planting phase in Kazakhstan.
- Continuing project implementation in Uganda and Kenya.
- Scaling local cookstove manufacturing and distribution in Kenya and Nigeria.
- Advancing feasibility studies and pilot programmes in Malawi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Ukraine.
- Progressing monitoring, validation, verification, and credit issuance across the portfolio.
Green Earth previously projected gross carbon credit sales of €79.8 million to €160.8 million over the decade following January 2023. Based on its expanded project portfolio, growing sales pipeline, and progress in securing long-term buyers, the Group remains confident in its ability to surpass that previously communicated outlook.
At the EGM on 15 October 2026, the Group will present an updated outlook and new short-term strategic objectives, setting out the next milestones in its long-term strategy.
Q3 marks another important step in Green Earth’s transition from building projects to commercialising and delivering them at scale. Our sales pipeline now exceeds €50 million, with substantial long-term buyers secured for two of our flagship agroforestry projects. The Uganda agreement demonstrates that the commercial breakthrough achieved during the first half of the year was not a single event. It reflects increasing buyer demand for high-integrity, independently verified nature-based credits with measurable benefits for communities and biodiversity.
Our focus is now firmly on execution. Contracts create visibility, but implementation, verification, issuance, and delivery ultimately create value. With planting preparations advancing in Uganda, promising survival results in Kazakhstan, and the first agricultural products already being harvested and sold in Kenya, we are building the operational foundation required to deliver on the commercial commitments we have secured.
